Thomas Winston Hodges, Jr., 69, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022 at his residence.

Thomas was born on August 12, 1952, in Ridgely, TN, to the late, Thomas Winston Hodges, Sr. and the late, Agnes Louise Sadler Hodges. He was a diagnostics technician with Delta Chevrolet and was an avid fisherman. Thomas was a member of Cottonwood Baptist Church.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Cottonwood Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Adams officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Douglas Hodges of Ridgely, TN; a daughter, Stephanie Staggs and husband, Nick, of Troy, TN; a son, Shane Hodges of Ridgely, TN; and two grandchildren, Addie Staggs and Jake Staggs.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Richardson; and a brother, Ernie Hodges.

Pallbearers will be Jackie Howell, Stoney Thurmond, Charles Stewart, W.C. Roberson, Jonathan Moore and Ben Moore.
