Thomas Gibbons, 78, of Finley, died Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a retired security supervisor for Casino Aztar, attended Finley Pentecostal Church and a U.S. Air Force Veteran of the Korean War.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. John Archer officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Alice Gibbons of Finley; a daughter, Debbie Pierce and husband, Craig, of Dennis, MS; four sons, Tommy Gibbons and wife, Roxanne, of Trimble, Jimmy Gibbons and wife, Pam, of Jackson, David Gibbons of Alamo and Kenny Gibbons and wife, April, of Newbern; two step-sons, James Reasons and wife, Carrie, of Gates and Russell Reasons and wife, Tisa, of Memphis; a brother, Billy Gibbons and wife, Cynthia, of Dyersburg; a half-brother, George "G.G." Gibbons of Clarksdale, MS; thirteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George Gibbons and Allie Smith Gibbons Seaton; his step-father, Lloyd Seaton; and his aunt, Margaret Smith.
Pallbearers will be Barry Stanley, Garon Perdue, Dillon Scobey, Joe Combs, Dan Rockafellow and Randy Goff. Honorary pallbearer will be Harvey Williamson.
