Thomas Andrew Davis, 79, of Halls, TN, passed away on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at his residence.

Thomas was born on August 29, 1943, in Dallas, TX, to the late, Norman and Irene Meyers Davis. He was the owner of Davis Mobile Homes in Ripley, TN and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Thomas loved traveling with his wife, where they visited all 50 states in the U.S., 52 countries and 7 continents. They also went on mission trips to Turkey and Nicaragua. Thomas proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Loren Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 10-11 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Joyce Fisher Davis of Halls, TN; two sons, Jeff Davis (Tammy) and Shane Davis (Melinda) all of Halls, TN; one brother, David Davis of Texas; five sisters, Patsy Bohannon and Sue Grandi, both of Texas, Nancy Johnson of Aurora, CO, Karen Hiett of Wynona, TX and Dinnah Webb of Florida; seven grandchildren, Skyler Davis, Tyler Davis, Scott Davis, Brett Davis, Jenna Davis, Megan Barber and Matt Lewis; and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Davis; and two sisters, Barbara Terrell and Alice Wright.

Pallbearers will be Skyler Davis, Tyler Davis, Scott Davis, Brett Davis, Matt Lewis and Lynn Craig.
