Terry Donnal Glover, age 83, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Born on May 26, 1941, in Graves County, Kentucky, he was the beloved son of the late George Thomas Glover and Lula Mildred Carter Glover.

Terry dedicated his life to education, retiring as an Assistant Principal, teacher, and athletic director with Dyersburg City Schools. His commitment to education extended beyond the classroom as he was an active member of the Dyersburg Education Association, Tennessee Education Association, and the National Education Association. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association, where he held the position of President for one year.

A 26-year member of the Kiwanis Club, Terry was also a member of the National Federation of High Schools and served as a City Alderman. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Dyersburg. Terry's legacy is one of dedication, service, and community involvement. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Dyersburg with Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Glover Family will receive visitors from 5:30-7 p.m. Sunday, May 11, 2025 and from 1-2 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2025 at First Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Madonna Glover of Dyersburg, TN; a son, William Christopher Glover of Martin, TN; two daughters, Sherri Glover Lyons (David) and Victoria Glover Hamilton (Barry), all of Dyersburg, TN; three brothers, Jerry Lynn Glover (Carol) of Knoxville, TN, George Edward Glover (Nancy) of Graves County, KY and Sam Helm (Janie) of Dyersburg, TN; five grandchildren, Evan Sanders (Haley), Anne-Katherine Self (Coleman), Julia Carol Hamilton, Tyler Lyons (Jenna) and Austin Lyons; three great-grandchildren, Sami Lyons, Phoenix Lyons and Love Lyons; one great-grandchild on the way, Baby Sanders; and two special extended daughters, Bonita Vickrey and Kim Reynolds.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Terry was preceded in death by a half-sister, Deborah Helm; and a grandson, Gray Hamilton.

Pallbearers will be Coleman Self, Tyler Lyons, Austin Lyons, Evan Sanders, Tom Mathis and Andy Baker. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Baker, Tommy Cross, Willie Cole, Billy Taylor, Ken Alford and Jason Alexander.
