Teresa McAlister Parker, 51, of Ridgely, died Sunday, July 5, 2009 at her residence.
She was a homemaker and a member of Living Word Church in Hornbeak.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home - Ridgely Chapel with the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. today at the Ridgely chapel.
Survivors include a daughter, Sara Troutman and husband, Paul Troutman Jr., of Ridgely; a son, Michael Ford of Dyersburg; a sister, Merry "Libby" Scott and husband, Donald, of Ridgely; two brothers, Jerry McAlister and wife, Denise, of Ridgely, and Ricky McAlister and wife, Carolyn, of Dresden; and four grandchildren, Anah Whitson, John Parker Whitson, Timmy Troutman and MiKael Troutman.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Pleasant "Plez" and Veatrice McAlister; and two sisters, Glenda "Guinea" Scott and Judy McAlister.
Pallbearers will be Gary Scott, Joshua Scott, Teddy Scott, Justin Blackwill, Ricky L. McAlister and Terry Hinson. Honorary pallbearers will be James "Bubba" Parrish and Jeremy Scott.
