Ted Louis Lowery, age 77, of Jackson, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Ted was born on November 24, 1945, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Floyd and Lucy Kate Pruitt Lowery. He was the former owner of Lowery's Body Shop and then went on to open Lowery's Boat Shop - Mantra Jet Boats. Ted was an avid Tennessee Football Fan and enjoyed collecting and restoring up old cars and boats. He loved watching old westerns with his grandchildren and enjoyed woodworking and building unique items. Ted proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Jay Hollomon officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The Lowery Family will receive visitors from 4-7 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 and from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy Lowery of Jackson, TN; two daughters, Sara Geaslin (John) of Johnson City, TN and Nicole Holland (Brad) of Collierville, TN; two sisters, Betty Swims (Gerald) of Jackson, TN and Patty Jeffries (Holice) of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren, Annaston Geaslin, Emery Geaslin, Ella Grace Holland, Brayden Holland and Cannon Holland; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members.

In addition to his parents, Ted was preceded in death by his son, Scott Lowery; three brothers, James Lowery, Billy Lowery and Sammy Lowery; and three sisters, Dot Hollomon, Frances Slaughter and Imogene Butcher.

Pallbearers will be John Geaslin, Brad Holland, Ricky Lowery, David Lowery, Jay Hollomon and Carl Schultz. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Butcher, Brayden Holland and Cannon Holland.
