Susanne King Dement's Obituary
Susanne King Dement, 67, of Brighton, TN, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Covington, TN.
She was born on October 28, 1949 in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Jack and Bertha King. Susanne was a retired employee with the Social Security Administration. She was a member of Munford First United Methodist Church, where she was very active in church activities. She also loved gardening.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. Mike Pilcher officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday at Munford First United Methodist Church and from 12-1 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Roy Dement, M.D. of Brighton; a daughter, Ashley King Rice of Durham, N.C.; a step-daughter, Mandi Holley of Hernando, MS; two step-sons, Michael Dement of Brighton and Matt Dement of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Jack Marshall King of Montpelier, VA; and nine grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to Munford First United Methodist Church.
