Susan Elizabeth Goodgine, 66, of Tiptonville, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at her residence.
She was a retired licensed practical nurse for Reelfoot Manor, where she worked for 22 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and attended Abundant Life Fellowship Church. Mrs. Goodgine was a devout Christian. She attended St. Joseph School of Nursing in Memphis and attended Bob Jones University.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Pastor David Gray officiating. Burial will be in New Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Goodgine, Sr. of Tiptonville; a daughter, Julie Goodgine Ligons and husband, Nicky, of Ridgely; a son, Ray Goodgine, Jr. and wife, Kim, of Ridgely; her mother, Elizabeth Ann Lavenue of Tiptonville; a sister, Carrie Lou Anderson of Tiptonville; and three grandchildren, Steven Ligons, Regan Goodgine and Parker Kate Goodgine.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Stone; and a brother, Larry Stone.
Pallbearers will be Rob Bledsoe, John McCain, Nicky Ligons, Steven Ligons, Daniel Wilbanks and James Mooring.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Tiptonville First Baptist Church or to Abundant Life Fellowship in Ridgely.
