Sue Ellen Swader, 73, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.
She was a retired machine operator for Sylvania Manufacturing and member of First United Pentecostal Church. She was a mentor for the Dyer County Literacy Group and a former den mother for the Cub Scouts.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Jaco officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her beloved husband, George Edward Swader of Dyersburg; a son, Dicky Lynn Swader and wife, Melinda, of South Fulton; a daughter, Molly Swader Pennington and husband, Donald Ray, of Dyersburg; a brother, Jerry Weaver and wife, Charlotte, of Dyersburg; a sister, Dianne Anderson and husband, David, of Dyersburg; a sister-in-law, Lois Yvonne Walker of Dyersburg; and five grandchildren, Kaley and Parks Pennington and Gabrielle, Payton and Adysen Swader.
She was preceded in death by her three daughters, Pamela Swader, JoAnn Swader and Susan Swader; her parents, T.D. and Frances Crum Weaver; a brother, Thomas Darrell Weaver; and a brother-in-law, Billy Joe Walker.
Family members will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
