Sue Frances Delaney Schenk, 101, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at her residence.

Frances was born on July 18, 1920, in Mooring, TN, to the late, Walter Charles Delaney and Sibyl Gray Delaney. She was a retired farmer and was a member of Tiptonville First United Methodist Church. Frances was a graduate of Ridgely High School and enjoyed playing the piano daily until the last few weeks.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church in Tiptonville with Rev. Chip Davis officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 a.m. until service time at the church. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her daughter, Candace Schenk George (Danny) of Osceola, AR; a son, Joe Delaney Schenk (Linda) of Tiptonville, TN; a grandson, Walter Louis George of Memphis, TN; and three great-grandchildren, Lane Schenk, C.J. Martin and Jase Mays.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Pershing Schenk; a son, Jackie Boy Moss; and three grandchildren, Delaney Schenk, Sybil Schenk and Joey George.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Johnson, Renell Swift, Tolar Flowers, Tony Bargery, Shelby Barker, Jr. and Thomas Dial.

Memorials may be directed to Tiptonville First United Methodist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
