Dimple Sue Ropkin, 82, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Oakwood Community Living Center.

Sue was born on January 20, 1938, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Jess and Bessie Anderson Ray. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Pentecostal Church.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Dyer County Memorial Gardens with Pastor Paul Ray Cagle officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00-11:45 a.m. Thursday, October 22, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Sherry Young (Glenn) of Burbank, IL; a grandson, Brandon Young; five brothers, Jessie Ray (Loyce) of Conway, AR, Hildre Ray (Sheila) of Eads, TN, Jerry Ray (Janet) of Conway, AR, Roger Ray (Katheryn) of Newbern, TN and David Ray (Christina) of Lexington, TN; and three sisters, Peggy Reeves (Homer) of Dyersburg, TN, Joy Shirley (Roy) of Hornbeak, TN and Barbara Gilbreath of Sherwood, AR.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph Palmer and Ronnie Ropkin.

Pallbearers will be Bronson Huey, Jacob Huey, Trevor Huey, Roger Ray, Ricky Ray and Chad Bryant.
