Sue Holt McGuire, 93, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023 at her residence.

Sue was born on November 10, 1929, in Richwood, TN, to the late Edward and Mary Sue White Holt. She was an assembly worker for Olberg Manufacturing and was a former operator at Bell South Telephone Company. Sue was a homemaker, was the site director for the Northwest Tennessee Elderly Nutrition Program and had been the owner of several restaurants. She loved to read, cook and was a Baptist by faith.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Matthews officiating. Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sons, Kenny McGuire and Mike McGuire, both of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Geraldine Adkins of Jackson, TN and Yvonne Mann of New Albany, MS; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, J.R. McGuire; and her daughter, Shelia Ann McGuire.
