Sue Swims Golden's Obituary
Sue Swims Golden, 84, of Dyersburg, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at The Highlands of Dyersburg.
She was born on March 10, 1932 in Dyer County, TN to the late, Jessie and Gladys Kee Swims. Sue was a retired sales clerk for Acred Shoe Store and was a member of Parr Avenue Church of Christ.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Owen officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The Golden Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her daughter, Lisa Golson and husband, Jeff, of Dyersburg; a son, Randy Golden and wife, Pamela, of Dyersburg; a sister, Doris Downing of Hornbeak; two brothers, Glen Swims of Memphis and Gerald Swims of Jackson; and six grandchildren, Justin Golden, Megan Golden, Adam Golden, Zach Golson, Grant Golson and Emily Golson.
Besides her parents, Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Kent Golden; a sister, Mildred Fowlkes; and a brother, Wayne Swims.
Pallbearers will be Justin Golden, Adam Golden, Zach Golson, Grant Golson, Terry Seaton and Tim McCraw.
The Golden Family requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or at www.alz.org
