Steven Wade Nichols, 54, of Paris, TN, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2025, at his residence.

He was born on January 13, 1971, in Union City, TN, to Barbara Allen Nichols and the late Grant Wade Nichols. Steven worked as a deckhand with Ingram and was known for his love of football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Vols. He was also an avid pool player and cherished his family deeply.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at the Ridgely Civic Center, 101 South Main Street, Ridgely, TN 38080.

The family will receive visitors from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at Dyersburg Funeral Home, 420 Hwy 51 Bypass West, Dyersburg, TN 38024.

Survivors include his son, Cameron Nichols of Chicago, IL; two daughters, Keely Nichols of Tiptonville, TN and Shaylee Nichols of Ridgely, TN; his mother, Barbara Nichols of Paris, TN; a brother, Greg Nichols of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Amanda Nichols of Paris, TN and Renee Bledsoe (Rob) of Ridgely, TN; two grandchildren, Na'Kylie Cheirs and Dailyn Nichols; his uncle, Larry Allen of Chicago, IL; the mother of his children, Julia Lovell of Tiptonville, TN; and seven nieces and nephews, Noah Rogers, Micah Rogers, Alivia Bartee, Joshua Bledsoe, Caleb Bledsoe, Dylan Nichols and Kayla Nichols.

In addition to his father, Steven was preceded in death by a grandchild, Karson Giles.
