Stanley Leon Gean, 79, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Saturday, August 28, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Leon was born on February 4, 1942, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Stanley and Alice Simmons Gean. As a retired car salesman, he worked for Moody Wadley, Moore Motor Sales and Melvin White Olds. Leon was a member of The Sanctuary and loved his grandchildren.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Ron Lovins officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Fay Gean of Dyersburg, TN; a son, Danny Gean (Kristin) of Monroe, TN; a daughter, Debbie Deal (Damon) of Fort Dix, NJ; a brother, Mark Gean (Cindy) of Dyersburg, TN; and six grandchildren, Brett Vineyard (Austin), Taylor Trujillo (Ulysses), Mary Rachel Gean, Emily Gean, Brittney Deal and Abby Deal.

In addition to his parents, Leon was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Gean, Billy Gean, Marvin Gean and Charlie Gean.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
