Stallings Lipford's Obituary
Stallings Lipford, 81, of Dyersburg, died Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was the Chairman Emeritus for First Citizens National Bank, where he worked for over 50 years.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Fairview Cemetery with Mr. Vince Haymon officiating.
Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Jane Hall Lipford of Dyersburg; a son, Phil Lipford and partner Marlon Taylor of Dyersburg; a brother, Charles "Sonny" Lipford of Florida; and a special grandchild, Olivia Taylor.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tommy Lipford; and his parents, A.A. and Madelyne Stallings Lipford.
Pallbearers will be Ralph Henson, Milton Magee, Jeff Agee, Eddie Anderson, Hughes Clardy and Cotton Worley. Honorary pallbearers will be First Citizens National Bank Directors and Mr. Don Pennington.
