Stacy "Cigar"
Walton, Sr.
March 12, 1968 – April 9, 2023
Stacy "Cigar" Walton, Sr. age 55 of Lenox, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 surrounded by his family and friends.
Stacy was born on March 12, 1968, in Lenox, TN, where he had resided all his life. Stacy grew up farming and he was a great mechanic. There was not anything he couldn't fix. Stacy also enjoyed deer hunting, squirrel hunting and fishing every chance he got. But his true passion was drag racing. Stacy enjoyed working, building and driving race cars in which he shared that passion with his two boys, nephew, his brother and friends. You can bet they were always at the track. In Stacy's final days, he told Seth, Stacy, Jr., Joelynn and Tony to never give up on racing and to always keep going no matter what. In which they will and they will always keep Stacy's memory alive.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 13, 2023 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. David Prince officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
