Sonji Darlene Welch, age 61 of Ripley, formerly of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022, at AHC Healthcare in Dyersburg.

She was born on July 21, 1961, in Dyersburg, TN to the late Kenneth and Janice Wilson White. She was a retired cook for H&A service station in Halls, TN. Sonji enjoyed cooking, crafting, and tending to her flowers in her flower beds.

Graveside services for Sonji Welch will be Sunday, October 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Fairview Cemetery conducted by Dr. John Lowrance. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her two daughters, Crystal Wilson (Mason) of Collierville, TN and Miranda Paige (Brandon) of Georgia; one brother, James M. White (Christy) of Finley, TN and seven grandchildren, Maggie Wilson, Keller Wilson, Macie James Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Klaeton Welch, Lauren Brown and Audrina Paige.
