Sonia Giovenco's Obituary
Sonia Giovenco, 95, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Tennova Healthcare Dyersburg Regional.
She was a homemaker and a Catholic.
Catholic Funeral Rites will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church in East Liverpool, OH with Father Peter Haladej officiating. Burial will be in St. Aloysius Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the local arrangements.
The Giovenco Family will receive visitors from 9-11 a.m. Thursday at Dawson Funeral Home, 215 West Fifth Street, East Liverpool, OH 43920.
Survivors include her two daughters, Rosemarie Ramey, and her late husband, Bobby J. Ramey, Sr. of Dyersburg and Anna M. Leganski and husband, Kenneth, of Oswego, IL; a son, Sydney Giovenco and wife, Betty, of Escanaba, MI; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Giovenco; her parents; and a sister.
The Giovenco Family requests that memorials be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
