Mrs. Shirley Jane Wilson, age 89, of Dyersburg, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Jackson General Hospital.  She was born June 9, 1934 in Coulterville, IL to the late Doug & Ruth Gallagher.  She will be remembered for her sweet and outgoing personality, in her early years working as a telephone operator and bank teller and later through the groups of friends she made playing bridge, showing horses with her husband and more recently, by her morning group of regulars at McDonalds.  In her free time, she was an avid reader, crafter and St. Louis Cardinal fan.  She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

Shirley is survived by her beloved husband & companion of 70 years, Dave Wilson, her daughter, Kelly Cochrane & husband, Brian, her two grandsons, Wilson & Riley Cochrane, her brother, Danny Gallagher and sisters, Betty Luthy and Jean Horner.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Dyersburg Funeral Home.  Funeral Services will be conducted by Rev. Mike Hickman at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  David Brasfield, Harvey Barrett, John Byrd, Brian, Riley & Wilson Cochrane will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
