Shirley Ann Pilkenton, 84, of Bogota, TN, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at the West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Shirley was born on November 2, 1937, in Bogota, TN, to the late, Murray Paul Finley and the late Enid Gwendolyn Robinson Finley. She was a retired hairdresser and was a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ. Shirley was a Dyer County Fair Board Member for many years and stayed very active with a variety of community activities. Shirley liked to travel, painting, fishing and camping.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Mr. John Huse Robinson and Mr. Johnnie Finley officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The Pilkenton Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Eldred Pilkenton of Bogota, TN; a daughter, Donna Kay Moore of Ridgely, TN; a son, William Paul Pilkenton (Cheri) of Dyersburg, TN; a brother, Johnnie Finley of Glendale, TN; two sisters, Paulette Roberts of Dyersburg, TN and Debbie Charest of Murfreesboro, TN; four grandchildren, Stacey Johnson, Nathan Moore, Chase Pilkenton and Emily Baker; and seven great-grandchildren, Patrick Johnson, Anna Claire Moore, Drew Johnson, Brantley Pilkenton, Harley Pilkenton, Sophie Conrad and Grayson Baker.

Pallbearers will be Chase Pilkenton, Nathan Moore, Jimmy Welch, Lynn Welch, Pete Welch and Ronnie Robinson.
