Mrs. Shirley Diane Hearod, of Dyersburg, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.  She was born April 19, 1950 in Chicago, IL to the late Cleo and Cynthia Manns.  Shirley was a loving and devoted mother, wife and homemaker.  She loved time spent with her family and her Christian faith was an important part of her life.  

Shirley is survived by her husband, Larry Hearod, her son Larry Timothy Hearod, Sr., her brothers; Thomas Manns, Sr. Steve and David Manns, her sister; Alice Pate and was greatly loved as "Nanny" by her grandchildren; Sara Hearod, Emily Hearod and  Larry Timothy Hearod, Jr. and her six great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and sisters; Martha Allen and Susan Spencer.  

Family and friends are invited to gather at Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt, TN. for graveside funeral services to begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 conducted by Rev. Randy Allen.  Gerald Collins, Paula Haynes, Lee Manns, Steve Manns, Timothy Hearod, Jr. and Daryl Allen will be honored to serve as pallbearers.
