Shirley Ann Harris, 85, of Houston, TX, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on October 2, 2022 at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston, TX.

Shirley was born on February 1, 1937, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Elvis and Willie Mai Scott. She was a long-time employee of Colonial Rubber.

Memorial services for Ms. Harris will be held at a later date. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her sister, Joyce Reed of Phoenix, Arizona; a nephew, Anthony Scott, of Houston, Texas; a niece, Lora Lee of Dyersburg, TN; and many great nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Harris; and three sisters, Bonnie Ruth, Betty Jane and Dorothy Sue.
