Shirley Gale Eaton, 72, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Shirley was born on August 28, 1949, in Finley, TN, to the late, Chester and Margarette Lee Sullivan Eaton. She was an employee with Sylvania until they closed and then worked as a cook at Mary Lou's Restaurant. Shirley loved to cook for her family and friends. She was a Baptist by faith.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Verlin Clark officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive visitors starting at 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Survivors include her two sons, Rodney Barton (Tara) of Albuquerque, NM and Mikie Sipes of Dyersburg, TN; four sisters, Cathy Bessent and Janette Clark (Rick) all of Dyersburg, TN, Cindy Parker (Skip) of Henderson, TN and Terry Brock (Randy) of Finley, TN; a brother, Robby Eaton (Anita) of Dyersburg, TN; two grandchildren, Claire Barton and Reid Barton; a sister-in-law, Angie Sipes of Dyersburg, TN; and her two K-9 companions, Phoebe and Piper.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by a son, Jody Lee Barton.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
