Shirley Ann Pruitt Atchison, 84, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2020 at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, TN.

Shirley was born on February 13, 1936, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late Obie and Addie Pruitt. She retired from the receiving department at Colonial Rubber and was a member of Phillips Street Church of Christ.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2020 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Brewer officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2020 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Ashley (Randy) of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Mitchell Kimbrell and Jimmy Allen Kimbrell (Tammy)  all of Dyersburg, TN; a step-daughter, Cindy Cox (Brent) of Jackson, TN; a step-son, Mike Atchison of Tiptonville, TN; three sisters, Faye Johnston, Laura Goodwin and Helen Wiggins, all of Dyersburg, TN; ten grandchildren, Becky Ashley, Kristie Patterson, Justin Kimbrell, Candice Kimbrell, Cody Kimbrell, Jessica Kimbrell, Johnaton Riley, Lauren Carlisle (Barry), Payton Cowles and Craig Atchison; eight great-grandchildren, Skyler Zaricor, Randi Zaricor, Chase Allen, Ethan Allen, Barrett Rainey, Ella Kate Holden, Livian Carlisle and Bingham Carlisle; and one great-great-granddaughter, McKenna Zaricor.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, George Atchison.

Pallbearers will be Brodie Cupples, Charlie Barron, David Goodwin, Randy Ashley, Robby Richards and Rob Enochs.
