Sherrie Matheny, 70, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

She was born on May 19, 1949, in Madie, TN, to the late, Wilburn Haze Richardson and the late Virginia Woolverton Richardson. Sherrie was a homemaker.

Cremation services are under the direction of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her two sons, Michael Lee Matheny of Whitesville, TN and Kevin Haze Matheny of Nashville, TN; three sisters, Lois Mohammed and Regina Richardson, both of Rossville, IL and Rhonda Stafford of Dyersburg, TN; three brothers, Terry Richardson of Mountain Home, AR, Jimmy Richardson of Dyersburg, TN and Jeff Richardson of Illinois; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Matheny; a son, Timothy Ray Matheny; a sister, Candace Richardson; and a brother, Johnny Richardson.
