Sheila Joyce Smith's Obituary
Sheila Joyce Smith, 65, of Tiptonville, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2016 at Reelfoot Manor Nursing Center.
She was born on April 18, 1951 in Pemiscot County, MO to the late James and Mary Barbee Burress. Sheila was a retired seamstress for Rolane Manufacturing. She was also a member of Calvary Independent Baptist Church.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Carl Southerland officiating.
The family will receive visitors from 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her two daughters, Mary Williams and husband, Paul, of Newbern and Delonda Smith Galan and husband, Victor, of Tiptonville; a brother, James Burress of Troy; five grandchildren, Roger Dean, Angel Leppard, Casey Dean, Michael Dean and Samantha Galan; and two great-grandchildren, Jathan Curl and Taylor Dean.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Smith.
