Ms. Sharon Ann Pruitt Windle, of Dyersburg, passed away Friday January 26, 2024 at her residence.  She was born May 20, 1948 in Dyersburg to the late Jesse & Ann Pruitt.  She worked for the City of Dyersburg and the Dyersburg Police Department as a records clerk for over 25 years.  In her free-time, she enjoyed puzzles and crafting, especially cross-stitching, working outside in her gardens and also riding horses.

She is survived by her son Andrew Windle III & wife, Donna, her daughters Kristy Windle, Bridgette Windle and Windy Vargas & husband, Joaquin, her sister Debbie Pruitt Jones & husband, Mark, her eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Andrew Ray Windle Jr. and her brother Ronnie Pruitt.

Visitation will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home on Monday, January 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Billy Tucker.  Interment will follow in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.  Honoring Sharon Windle by serving as pallbearers will be Andy, Josh & David Windle, Mark Jones, Mickey Hudson and Ricky Horner.

Memorials to honor Sharon Windle should be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
