Shannon Leanne Tankersley, 45, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at West Tennessee Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

Shannon was born on December 2, 1975, in Dyersburg, TN to Dale Snyder and JoAnn Haynes Criswell. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers. Shannon was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and was an Addison's Disease Advocate.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Robbins officiating. Burial will be in Dyer County Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive visitors from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her three daughters, Kristen Turner, Kendra Sorrell (Chris) and Kaitlyn Davidson (Robert) all of Dyersburg, TN; her mother, JoAnn Criswell of Newbern, TN; her father, Dale Snyder (Tracie) of Ridgely, TN; a brother, D.J. Snyder (Amanda) of Dyersburg, TN; a step-sister, Magen Purvis of Newbern; three grandchildren, Elleigh Sorrell, Embreigh Sorrell and Everleigh Sorrell; a niece, Dakota Snyder; and a nephew, Caleb Snyder.

Shannon was preceded in death by her grandmother's, Mary Snyder and Martha Haggard.

Pallbearers will be Caleb Snyder, Steven Avery, Ronald Snyder, Jr., Jimmy Dale Snyder, Maurice Gross and Harold Hildreth.
