Sarah Ruth Harrison Moore, 87, of Dyersburg, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2009 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a homemaker, a dietician for Parkview Hospital, owner of Moore's BBQ and Downtown Deli, former manager of the airport restaurant, a member of Northside Church of Christ, caretaker for many family members and friends, and loved to cook, especially wild game.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, Guy Harrison of Medina, Steve Harrison of Viar and John R. Harrison of Sikeston, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, L.M. Harrison and Harry Moore; her parents, Charles and Hattie Rambo; five sisters, Nell Lane, Oneita Walker, Geneva Ray, Mable Pritchard and Beniva Evans; and three brothers, Charles Rambo, Virgil Rambo and Vernon Rambo.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Harrison, Mason Herman, Dickey Harrison, Forrest Harrison, Joe Williams, Dedrick Bowles and Gary Spoto. Honorary pallbearers will be Zachary Bowles, Gidgett Harrison Spoto, Suzanne Harrison Williams, Sherri Harrison Bowles, Stacey Harrison, Kelly Harrison, Adam Bowles, Leslie Harrison and Shelby Connolly.
