Mrs. Sarah Love Hickman, of Dyersburg, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2022 at West Tennessee Healthcare-Dyersburg Hospital.  She was born August 26, 1928 in Forkville, MS to the late RS and Mozelle Nutt.  She graduated as valedictorian of her senior class and worked throughout her adult life in finance, first as an accountant for the Sears-Roebuck Co. for 14 years, then as the financial secretary for Van Winkle Baptist Church of Jackson, MS and Wildwood Baptist Church of Clinton, MS for 35 years.  She loved being outdoors, gardening, playing dominoes with her friends, and spending time with her family.  She was most recently a dedicated member of First Baptist Church in Dyersburg.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Hickman & wife, Wren of Dyersburg and David Hickman & wife, Lisa of Mobile, AL ,as well as her sister, Helen Davis and brothers, Billy Nutt and George Nutt.  She was lovingly known as Gigi by her grandchildren, Hamp Hickman, Sellers & Hannah Hickman, Sky Hickman, Riley Hickman & Fiance' Alden Johnson, Rusty Hickman, and Regan Hickman, and was excitedly awaiting the birth of two great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edward Wyatt Hickman, her sister, Iwana Smith and brothers Wayne Nutt and Larry Nutt.

Visitation will be held at Dyersburg Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with a family funeral and burial services to be held later in the week in Clinton, MS.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Legacy Fund or Building Fund of First Baptist Church, Dyersburg TN.
