Joanne Gooch, 77, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Hermitage, TN.

Joanne was born on November 11, 1943, in Troy, Tennessee, to the late, L.B. and Sallie Georgia Roberson Thompson. She was a self-employed day care owner for 40 years and was a member of First Baptist Church in Tiptonville. Ms. Joanne loved gardening and cooking.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at First Baptist Church Tiptonville with the Rev. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.

The Gooch Family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2021 at the church.

Survivors include her daughter, Belinda Gooch Miller (Scott) of Hermitage, TN; two sons, Timothy Earl Gooch of Nashville, TN and Jonathan Lewis Gooch (Kwinn) of Lebanon, TN; and eight grandchildren, Miranda Nobles (Jared), Baleigh Gooch Jones (Logan), Lily Anne Miller, Bethany Gooch, Makinna Gooch, Tate Gooch, Alivia Gooch and Jennie Sha.

In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Earl Gooch; and Ms. Joanne was the last of her family's nine children.

Pallbearers will be Ms. Joanne's nephews.
