Sandy Jones, 70, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at her residence.

Sandy was born on September 12, 1949, in Friendship, TN, to the late James and Elzie Slayton Traylor. She was a retired postmaster with the United States Postal Service and was a member of Tiptonville First Baptist Church. Sandy and her husband were avid crappie fisherman.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Lake Memorial Gardens with the Rev. John Troutman officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Paul David Jones of Tiptonville, TN; a son, Paul David Jones, Jr. (Angela) of Dyersburg, TN; two daughters, Allison Burrow (Rusty) of Dyersburg, TN and Melanie Ayers (Jerry) of Tiptonville, TN; a brother, Jimmy Traylor (Martha) of Memphis, TN; eight grandchildren, James Robert Jones, Justin Jones, Bryan Jones, Will Yates, Lauren Yates, Jon Thomas Greene, Connor Yates and Landon Hughes; and five great-grandchildren, Madelyne Jones, Ariel Jones, Brecklyn Jones, Drake Jones and Kallen Jones.

Memorials may be directed to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
