Mrs. Sandra Ruth Smith, of Dyersburg, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at her residence.  She was born June 1, 1962 to Neely and Peggy Smith.  She was a homemaker and formerly worked for the Jimmy Dean Sausage Company and was a member of the Independent Free Holiness Church.

She is survived by her mother, Peggy Pilkington Smith, a son, T.J. Kesterson and wife, Erin of Ft. Riley, KS, a daughter, Lisa Stephens and husband, Chad, of Dyersburg, a brother, Mark Smith and two sisters, Linda Richardson and Rita Smith.  She was loved by her grandchildren, Molly & Tyler Stephens, Katherine & John Wyatt Kesterson and Grayson Barham and her nieces and nephews, Brian Morgan and wife, Donna, April Richardson, Tammy Kelley Garrett, Jason Kelley, Shelly Topolski and husband, Will, Shelby Smith and several great-nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her father, John Neely Smith, two sisters, Brenda Kay Smith and Patricia Coker and a nephew, Greg Kelley.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, March 24, 2020, conducted by Rev. Calvin Smith at 3:00 p.m. at the Independent Free Holiness Church with interment to follow in Fairview Cemetery.  The family will gather at the church from 1:00 until services. Pallbearers will be T.J. Kesterson, Brian Morgan, Jon Smith, Adam Smith, Jamie Fowler, and Joshua Holden.
