Sandra Kay Hipps' Obituary
Sandra Kay Hipps, 61, of Dyersburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at her residence.
She was a retired custodian for the Dyersburg City School System. She was also a Baptist.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Calvin Smith officiating. Burial will be in Palestine Cemetery in Bruceville.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include her three sons, Michael Lee Hipps and wife, Holly, of Finley, Tim Hipps and Kenneth Hipps, both of Dyersburg; four sisters, Terry Frank of Vienna, VA, Patricia Lambke of Algonquie, IL, Lena Copeland of Dyersburg and Linda Brown of Blytheville, AR; three brothers, Roger Brim of Jonesboro, AR, Thomas Brim of Roellen and Bobby Brim of Dyersburg; six grandchildren, Kattie, Rebecca, Destiny, Haleigh, Cody, and Matthew; and two great-grandchildren, Anzlee and Rylan.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Lee Hipps; her parents, Claudia Edgar Brim and Erma Hamilton Brim; two sisters, Margaret Sexton and Peggy Weeks; five brothers, Jerry Brim, Jimmy Brim, Melvin Brim, Larry Brim and Raymond Brim; and one grandchild, Daykota Shianne.
Pallbearers will be Josh Brim, Melvin Brim, Roger Cox, Tracy Owens, Adrian Owens and Darrel Sweat.
