Sammie Dale James' Obituary
Sammie Dale James, 68, of Dyersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
He was a retired truck driver for Averitt Express and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Phipps officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
The family will receive visitors from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Friday at Dyersburg Funeral Home.
Survivors include his daughter, Kim Canada and husband, Scott, of Dyersburg; his mother, Wilma Sue James of Dyersburg; a sister, Frances Scott of Dyersburg; a brother, Danny James and wife, Pat, of Dyersburg; and two grandchildren, Katlyn Canada and Chris Canada.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur James; and a sister, Deborah Crafton.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Anderson, Danny James, Mickey Petty, Jerry Turnbo, Terry Canada, Danny Cooper and Scott Canada.
