Ruth Perkins Taylor, 65, of Clinton, Ky., formerly of Tiptonville, died Saturday, June 20, 2009 at Baptist Hospital in Union City.
She was a homemaker and a member of Springhill Baptist Church in Clinton, Ky.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Chris Clark officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. today at the Tiptonville Chapel.
Survivors include Wayne Taylor of Clinton, Ky.; a daughter, Charlene Williams Catron of Clinton, Ky.; two stepdaughters, Betty Ann Burton of Union City and Tiffany Marie Blades of Ziegler, Ill.; a son, Terry Williams of Newbern; a stepson, Nathan Thomas Taylor of West Frankfort, Ill.; four sisters, Sue Hays and Frances Jones, both of Tiptonville, Pat Lamb of Ridgely and Linda Williams of Columbus, Ky.; four brothers, Jessie Franklin Perkins Jr. and Jerry Wayne Perkins, both of Tiptonville, William Jody Perkins of Springfield and Ronnie Dale Perkins of Clinton, Ky.; nine grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Lori Ann Williams; a son, Tim Williams; a stepson, James Otis Williams; her parents, Jessie and Golden Perkins; and three brothers, Jackie Perkins, Carl Richard Perkins and Harold Perkins.
Pallbearers will be Terry Williams, John Fisher Jr., Tracy Johnson, Bo Lamb, Andrew Fisher and William "Will" Gamble.
