Russell G. Maher, Jr., 72, of Dyersburg, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Dyersburg Manor Nursing Center.

He was a retired materials manager for Siegel-Roberts and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. Russell was a member and former President of the Dyersburg Civitan Club and former board member of the Dyer County Red Cross.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015 at First United Methodist Church with Dr. David Russell and the Rev. Dell King officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, DoAnn Maher of Dyersburg; a daughter, Audra Eileen Bunnell and husband, David, of Urbana, OH; two sons, Russell G. Maher, III and wife, Karen, of Arlington Heights, IL and Sean Michael Maher of Gahanna, OH; his mother, Myrtle Maher of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Joan Monroe and husband, David, of Oklahoma City, OK; eleven grandchildren, Erin Maher, Ariel Bair, Owen Maher, Eric Maher, Mark Maher, Kelley Shepherd, Dru Calderhead, Paige Calderhead, Katlyn Calderhead, Joseph Bunnell and Jonathan Bunnell; and two great-grandchildren, Ryann Bauman and Chase Bauman.

He was preceded in death by his father, Russell George Maher, Sr.
