Ruby Maxine Solomon, 88, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Ruby was born on May 16, 1932, in Bolivar, TN, to the late Bill and Myrtle Duncan Lowe. She was a retired seamstress for Henry I. Siegal. Ruby was a member of First Baptist Church Tiptonville, where she was a very active in all church activities.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville with the Rev. John Troutman officiating. Burial will be in Tiptonville City Cemetery. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2020 at First Baptist Church in Tiptonville.

Survivors include her sister, Georgia Williams of Martin, TN; four grandchildren, Vickie Studard (Brad), Randall Moore (Diane), Jeff Hill and Mary Ellen Ractliffe (Scott); numerous great-grandchildren; two nephews, Willie Smith (Janice) and Eddie Johnson; and a cousin, Gladys Glover.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Solomon; a daughter, Wanda Hill; four sisters; and three grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Hatley, David Gooch, Jimmy Cox, Elmer Staggs, Lorin Raines, Daniel Moore, Luke Studard and Will Studard. Honorary pallbearers will be Macie Roberson, Bobby Joe Jones, Jimmy Leake, Tommie Bramlett and Jimmy Hill.
