Ruby Idell Powell's Obituary
Ruby Idell Powell, 78, of Ridgely, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at her residence.
She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Ridgely Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. David Gray officiating. Entombment will be at Dyer County Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Ridgely.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Barker of Ridgely; a daughter, Jo Ann Rogers of Tiptonville; a son, Glenn Allen Powell of Ridgely; a sister, Retta Barnes of Ridgely; nine grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Sue Avery; a son, Danny Powell; her parents, George and Audie Lee Moore; a sister, Blanche Gibson; and three brothers, Ralph Moore, J.D. Moore and Roy Moore.
