Ruby Tackett Parker, age 89, of Tiptonville, passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 at The Bridge at Ridgely.
She was a retired jewelry store owner and member of Tiptonville Women's League. She attended Tiptonville First United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Antioch Cemetery in Hornbeak with Mr. Lonnie Grady officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her three daughters, Linda Barker, and husband, Shelby, of Tiptonville; Joyce Lindamood, and husband, Ben, of Nashville; Charlotte Adcock, and husband, Shane, of Tiptonville; her three step-children, Becky Klass of North Carolina; Bobby Parker of Samburg; and Nicky Parker of Union City; her brother, Buster Tackett, of Dayton, Ohio; her sister, Rowena Lowry of Kentucky; ten grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Parker; her parents, Dave and Joe Mae Tackett; and her son, Charles Edward "Eddie" Corkran.
Pallbearers will be Logan Parker, Ben Parker, Dan Parker, Shelby C. Barker, John Watson, Corey Barnes, Terry Jamison, and Wil Keiser.
