Ruby Alford's Obituary
Ruby Alford, 78, of Dyersburg, died Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
She was a retired Advertising Director for 31 years for the State Gazette, a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a member of Young at Heart.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church with the Rev. Lynn King officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Dyersburg Funeral Home and from 9-10 a.m. Friday at Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Ernest Alford of Dyersburg; two sisters, Joyce Myers and Bettye Nail, both of Dyersburg; two brothers, Glenn Thomas Waller of Corinth, MS. and Bobby Neal Waller of Dyersburg; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ora McGlaughlin Waller; and two brothers, Harold Waller and Albert "John" Waller.
