Royce Palmer Boals' Obituary
Royce Palmer Boals, 85, of Dyersburg, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at her residence.
She was a retired administrative assistant for Dyer County Trustee's Office and a member of First Baptist Church.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Boston and the Rev. Mike Hickman officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include her son, Mike Boals and wife, Nancy, of Dyersburg; two grandchildren, Matt Boals and wife, Laura, and Jill Boals Watkins, all of Dyersburg; and a great-grandchild, Jacey Watkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Buck" Boals; her parents, John and Annie Little Palmer; and a brother, Carney Palmer.
Pallbearers will be Robert Moore, Jeff Box, Joel Deal, Patrick Holden, Andrew Abbott and Cayce Abbott.
