Rosyln Aileen Baker, 89, of Cookeville, TN, formerly of Memphis and Smithville, passed away on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at her residence.

She was born in Dyersburg, TN, on December 21, 1929, to the late, Robert Taylor Hendren and the late Matt Etta Spraggins Hendren. Rosyln was an executive secretary with Service Master and was a member of Real Life Community Church in Smithville, TN.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Fairview Cemetery with the Rev. Don Davidson officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Tena Baker Davidson and husband, Don, of Cookeville, TN; a son, Samuel Chester Baker II and wife, Polly, of Collierville, TN; a sister, Tena Hendrie of Seattle, WA; and five grandchildren, Chet Baker, Anna Baker, Zach Davidson, Emily Davidson and Josh Davidson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Chester Baker; two sisters, Dorothy Yarbro and Melba Pope; and two brothers, Bud Hendren and Doc Hendren.

Pallbearers will be Sam Baker, Chet Baker, Josh Davidson, Don Davidson, Robert Pope and Bruce Pope.
