Rosie Myrtle Jones, 84, of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her residence.

Rosie was born on February 28, 1938, in Dyersburg, TN, to the late, Freddie and Willie Mae Delph Jones. She was a homemaker and was a member of West Dyersburg Church of Christ. Rosie loved gardening, working in her yard and tending to her flowers. She loved to sit on her porch in the swing and enjoying listening to country music.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Dr. Nathan Lewis and Bro. Jon Morris officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, April 29, 2022 at Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Jones (Kay) of Dyersburg, TN; a sister, Christine Griffin (James) of Dyersburg, TN; a granddaughter, Katy Beth Jones; and her best friend, Wayne Bateman.

In addition to her parents, Rosie was preceded in death by her brother, R.B. Jones; and a sister, Patricia Jones Skaggs.

Pallbearers will be Tony Griffin, Mark Griffin, Frankie Griffin, Brian Griffin, Jon Morris and Danny Jones.
