Ms. Rose Baker Kaufman, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Dyersburg, TN, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025 at St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett, TN.

Rose was born on June 15, 1945 in Finley, TN to the late Joe & Geneva Ray. She retired after a career teaching for Dyersburg City Schools. In her free time, she enjoyed tennis, gardening, tending her hummingbirds and traveling, especially to locations abroad. She truly loved her time spent with family, friends at her later home on the Wash-Out of Reelfoot Lake. She was a devoted Christian and member of The Church of Christ.

Rose is survived by her sons, Clay Baker and wife, Heather, and David Baker and wife, Ashley; and was loved as "Grammy" by her grandchildren, Kate, Michael, Caroline, Ben & Lillian Baker, Dakota Jackson & Daisia Graham.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Fentress Baker and Fritz Kaufman; her parents; a sister, Kay Malone; and a brother, Larry Joe Ray.

Funeral services will be held in the chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. conducted by Mr. Carl Mills with visitation to begin at 12:00p.m. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Dyersburg.
