Ronnie Gene Shaffer's Obituary
Ronnie Gene Shaffer, 48, of Parsons, formerly of Tiptonville, died Friday, November 25, 2011 at Dyersburg Regional Medical Center.
He was a welder for Wally MO Trailers.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home with Bro. David Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Lake Memorial Gardens.
The family received visitors from 5-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Katy Shaffer of Parsons; his mother, Dorothy Shaffer of Obion; a step-daughter, Melissa Yates of Christopher, IL; two step-sons, Timmy Hayes of Tiptonville and Billy Yates, Jr. of Parsons; three sisters, Marty Zeller of Kalamazoo, MI, Brenda Shaffer of Tiptonville and Felicia Morris of Hornbeak; four brothers, Terry Shaffer, Michael Shaffer, Randy Shaffer and Bobby Shaffer, all of Tiptonville; and seven step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clint Junior Shaffer.
Pallbearers will be Sam Sanders, Willie Benthal, Bobby Woods, Richard Canoy, Austin Dean and Brandon Dean.
