Ronnie D. Anderson, 72, of Tiptonville, TN, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2019 at his residence.

He was born on June 12, 1946, in Medina, TN, to the late Otis and Annie Luckey Anderson. Ronnie was a retired river boat captain for Kirby Inland Marine. He was an avid fisherman and served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Cronanville Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

The family will receive visitors from 5:30-8 p.m. Monday, April 22, 2019 at the Tiptonville Chapel of Dyersburg Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Anderson of Tiptonville; a daughter, Johna Proctor and husband, Jeff, of Charlotte, TN; a brother, Otis Anderson of Yorkville, TN; three grandchildren, Chase Crittenden, Austin Anderson and Perry Anderson; and four great-grandchildren, Ava Crittenden, Stephen Anderson, Skylar Anderson and Kylie Cagle.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Stephen Anderson; a sister, Shirley Dawson; and a brother, Carl Anderson.

Pallbearers will be Steve Costello, Wayne White, Kevin Anderson, Perry Anderson, Kyle Rodriguez and Jay Crittrenden.
