Ronald Edward Capps, Sr., 78, of Ridgely, TN, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at his residence.

Ronald was born on February 6, 1944, in Tiptonville, TN, to the late, William Albert Capps and the late Margie Castleman Capps. He was a retired amusement business owner and attended Phillippy Baptist Church.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022 at New Haven Cemetery with Rev. Danny O'Guin officiating. Dyersburg Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Family members and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Survivors include his two sons, Ronnie Edward Capps, Jr. and wife, Kelly, and Randall Lee Capps, all of Tiptonville, TN; five grandchildren, Jodi Nicole Neil and husband Jaxon, Blake Alan Brewer and wife Lacee, Alex Brewer, Maelee Capps and Kristen Sims; and four great-grandchildren, Parker Floyd Neil, Barrett Wayne Brewer, Rynlee Harper Capps and Mia Sims.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Rogers.

Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
