Roger Allen Ray, age 67 of Dyersburg, TN passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at West TN Healthcare Dyersburg Hospital.

He was born on July 21, 1955 in Dyersburg, TN to the late Eunice & Ruby Glozier Ray. Roger retired from UPS as a truck driver after 32 years of service. He was a faithful member of the West TN Riders biker group. Roger loved his family, his dogs and his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Roger proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Graveside committal services will be Friday, January 27, 2023 at 11 A.M. at Sorrells Chapel Cemetery conducted by Mr. Tommy Roper.

Survivors include his wife, Amanda Volner Ray of Dyersburg, TN; two sons, Rogers Ray Jr. (Helen) of Clearwater, KS and Shawn Ray (Kera) of Enterprise, AL; one daughter, Stephanie Ray of Dyersburg, TN; two sisters, Millie George (Jay) of Whitener, TX and Mary Johnson of Dyersburg, TN; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and extended family.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Amber Ray and Daykota Volner; three brothers, James "Buddy" Ray, Bobby Ray and Lloyd Ray; and three sisters, Joyce Robertson, Shirley Christian, and Melba Jean Ray.
